So going from 2 segments to 1 segment again, I needed reissuing.
Agent wanted to charge me $400 fare difference because "this ticket is not eligible for SDC". I believe that, aside from basic economy, all tickets are eligible?
I pushed back and got transferred to web support. She wanted $75. I said "the app said $0", so she just reissued it.
At this point, I was past the check-in cutoff.
The saving grace was my roommate was at my departure airport, and was able to get them to SDC me again.
I'm starting to question whether it's worth the effort to save this segment for when I actually want to use it.
