Can a a domestic upgrade request be canceled online?

Upon booking, I requested an upgrade on a domestic ticket using the 500 mile e-certs. My flight is tomorrow and I don't have the 2 certs in my account and don't want to buy them because the flight is pretty light and I have a 99% chance at getting an MCE or exit row in a few hours when checkin at T-24 begins. I don't see a way to cancel my upgrade request online. EF shows there are J7, which historically means I get the upgrade as a Gold at the 24 hour mark since there are greater than or equal to 7 seats still available to sell.

I presume when the system sees I don't have the certs it will move onto the next person anyway. But it raised the question on how I may do this in the future without having to call since I may change my mind when I do have certs I don't want to burn.
