Do you earn AQS for a segment that is not eligible for AQM?

I recently flew a segment on Brussels Airlines booking class K that is not eligible for Aeroplan / Altitude Q Miles (AQM). The Altitude website refers to the Aeroplan website to determine the number of AQM and AQS earned in a given booking class on a given *A partner. The page for Brussels Airlines on the Aeroplan website clarifies that I do not get AQM in Booking Class K, but it doesn't say anything about AQS.

Should I get an AQS segment credit for the segment even though I don't get any AQM?

The ticket was purchased from United.com and the flight was a codeshare with United.
It matters because I am that close to the next Altitude Status level.
