I just recalled a couple of other standard that started to be put in place or that I heard will start soon:

- In certain properties like the Le Meridien Chiang Mai, the F&B discount for Preferred, Gold & Platinum SPG members was 20/25/30% and is now 20% for all tiers, as required by Marriott.

- I heard a couple of times that uniforms will now be more standardized (with some hotels resisting that move, wanting to keep outfits reflecting the culture of the country - I don't know how they will be able to accomplish this).
That information will need to be checked as I am presently staying in a Marriott hotel with staff in very unique uniforms.
