I do not dispute your right to like or dislike topics of threads or your preference of managers to deal with this or that issue. Many of them are not of any interest to me and I just don't waste my time posting on them.

I was told several times by GMs or HMs to contact them directly if I had an issue or for future stays, but I have never chosen to do that.

And frankly, I agree with previous posters that this is a meaningless topic. As a guest I’d rather know the Guest Service Manager then the GM anyday although due to my vocation I know most, if not all of the current asian GMs, but agan if I’m a guest, whether its pre arrval or after arrival prefer to deal with the GSM.
