I was going to post a thread on this issue. I traveled American the past weekend and had the same issue. I used a 2 prong to 3 prong adapter and it helped a bit. Will be looking for high quality adapters that have thicker prongs. The outlets need to be replaced every year. Old school would probably use aluminum foil but that is a big safety issue.
