I was recently booked on YVR-SIN via CAN, and CZ changed my booking several times due to operational issues, resulting in CAN-SIN sector being pushed to +1 day. I had a very busy work schedule hence I couldn't afford to come back +1 day. Told CZ my concerns, they changed the CAN-SIN sector to SQ, just so I can be in Singapore on the day I needed to be. I think it is superb customer recovery considering both airlines have neither codeshare nor alliance!
