Though, I'm probably not 'borderline' (well over $10k spend, at least 60 IC revenue nights, about 10 different properties) but I am thinking of taking up to $6,000 away in January alone partially because of the possible gap after expiry and renewal due to their late renewal process (why couldn't they at least renew before the card expires?), uncertainties and plain old irritation.

Not that there is anything essential among the RA benefits but I somehow don't like being irritated by a loyalty scheme, and I am starting to feel that it may be time for me to ditch it as it's starting to irritate me more than it pleases me (Accelerate 2018 did not help - it's not the more you stay, the more you're rewarded, it's the more you stay, the less you're rewarded per night...).
