So apparently an ICC Plat like a US Plat gets you status with Starwood/Marriott and Hilton. I've submitted the forms to get gold with both programs, and for some reason it has applied to neither of them. I now have MeliaRewards gold (whatever that is) but HHonors and SPG both won't "take". Is this a common issue? Am I going to have to (ugh!) call Concierge?

(And, fun fact, as soon as I posted this I noted that my SPG account has updated to Gold, but not Marriott. I'm guessing that process takes more days for it to recognise the match? Or, worse, it never will because my status is "comped"?)
