Just finished a 430i convertible rental out of HNL. (don't remember if it was xDrive, IIRC mine was only a RWD) My 2nd time driving it and definitely CAN be sporty though its 250hp turbo 4 cylinder does leave a bit to be desired at the higher speeds/RPMs. Though if you do discover that it has launch control and that does make it a bit more fun when you need to get up and go.
