I've learned to separate out anything that may cause a question but last June while transferring in T5 I saw my tote bag (with PJs and non-liquid makeup) go into the secondary screening line. I assume it was random; there were quite a number of suitcases ahead of my bag and once again, they were shouting out threatening a 45 minute delay. I had a long layover, so I'm not worried; I look at the line and someone has moved my bag back into the regular line and I can pick it up immediately.
Angels, apparently, intervene on occasion or someone knows which bags are chosen randomly and makes an executive decision. Either way, I was grateful as I was ready for that espresso martini -- first CCR visit. Lovely!
