Why do they make things up? A good agent who wants to help the passenger will say it's currently indicated as X, but it could change so make sure you check closer to the time, a poor agent will give the above type of dumb response.
Exactly. As has been that exact response every other time I’ve asked. I knew the plane was parked somewhere around the south end of the terminal but didn’t know if it was on a free stand or contact gate which could have meant the possibility of a bus gate and wanted to position myself accordingly. Didn’t help my mood much with having been travelling for 40+ hours and a case of gastroenteritis as the icing on the cake.
