However, when I go through the booking process, it says I don't have enough points for the rental.

Does anyone know why it might be saying this? Is it because I am just trying to book 1 day's rental and to qualify for the free rental I need more than 1 day?

Thanks for any help!
Are you trying to book on a day when Anyday rewards are required? That would be 2x the points, so you wouldn't have enough. If it isn't a high-demand day when you're booking, try calling in to book, the web booking engine for award days is notoriously error-prone.
