Title of thread misleads me. "Paid F" implies to me that it is a full-fare, refundable ticket (what the "F" fare-inventory means). I travel on paid, full fare tickets all the time and have no problem. I generate some dissension when I walk up to a gate, more than 30 minutes before they go for the standbys, and ask for an F seat. I am not an EXP anymore, just a Plat. Guy recently saw me show the Plat card and get the seat on a full flight ORD to SJC. He complained. Agent straightend him out.
