Instead of following the signs for The Heathrow Speedlink (I think that's what it's called) look for the Bus Terminal. National Express will have a desk there where you can buy your ticket. You can buy in advance (
www.nxairport.com) but not sure about overseas delivery.
One other thing, I'm not sure if you'll be able to get into the Terminals at LHR at 3.15am as the airport closes overnight...

Finding us in South Terminal
Most of our services call downstairs at the main coach station. Lifts and a walkway or escalators take you one floor up to Departures. If you’re on one of our Heathrow-Gatwick transfer services, we drop you right outside the Departures hall.
National Express has two ticket desks in South Terminal, one in Arrivals and the other in the coach station. Our staff will be pleased to help with any enquiries.
Finding us in North Terminal
Most of our services call downstairs just outside the International Arrivals area, by the terminal doors. Lifts and escalators take you up to Departures. If you’re on one of our Heathrow-Gatwick transfer services we drop you right outside the Departures hall.
