I really do wonder sometimes how often IRROPs have caused people to miss their flights. I have flown B6 many times over the years out of NYC. No noticeable issues other than the usual NYC delays. The most nightmarish stories I heard of IRROPs are actually the Delta problems from this past April. Never heard of anyone say they won't fly JetBlue again because they missed a flight.

B6 has the superior product. Better leg room, no 17 inch width seat, on average newer cabin/aircraft, satellite TV, free wifi and possibly the best terminal experience at JFK.

LGA is a hit or miss. Sometimes it can be really bad, but most times it's quicker to get to than JFK. Although the terminal experience is pretty miserable. JFK is better accessible from public transit and you can reliably get there in about 60 to 75 minutes from midtown on public transit.
