Well, I'll say Amen!! Now that the CTOs are gone, it is a major pain in the booty to drive all the way out to an airport (ever notice how DEN is in the very opposite direction of civilization, for example?) to park, wait in line, sign a little blue sheet, pay for parking and drive all the way back.
Dare I say a waste? It should be fairly easy (although I do realize we are talking about United.com here) to integrate a transfer feature on the website that handles all this seamlessly. Not to mention the backend systems that are handling this poorly if CSRs and GAs can't seem to confirm nor deny the transfer.
Sigh.
