I have not seen anything to indicate any change to that plan. As already said, the agreement was always that AA would move to T2 when it opened to free up room for United to expand into T3E, and then would move again to T1 when that was completed. If anything, the subsequent merger has only
increased the impetus for AA to move to the new T1 because it will allow AA to consolidate all of its operations into a single terminal, which it cannot currently do. Plus, AA is going to get yet another new Admirals Club out of it in yet another great new terminal, and, if I remember correctly, AA's status as T1's largest operator and its prior agreements with the airport mean it will also get first dibs on gates and space, too.
I believe the long-term vision is/remains:
T1B: AA, Southwest + others
T1C: Delta + others
T2: Alaska
T3: United
