Why should I be forced to stand so that I can get off when the line gets back to my row? I sit comfortably until 2 rows ahead of me starts moving, then I stand, grab my things, and step out when it gets to me.

Your ability to stand up and move L/R 2 feet into the aisle doesn't give you special acceleration privileges.

And no, it wouldn't be faster to get all passengers off, which is the goal. Sit up front.
