When everything is royally screwed up the right idea is "lets get this going NOW" the government/TSA way of thinking is "woh there cowboy this was some terrorist event so we need to create new stupid things to slow this all back down, we dont want to fix this toooooo fast"

Remember after Christmas just right around the corner is the next government holiday...... Funding/budget approval time for your respective govt dept
