I was scheduled to take this particular flight but missed the flight due to snow in NYC caused the traffic delay into Newark. I saw UA936 was still at the gate when I arrived at EWR well passed its departure time due to weather condition.

My replacement flight had mechanical issue and we did not leave until after midnight and arrived at SFO at 3:30 am.

On the topic:

I have observed people are getting more impatient these days. Of course the delay does not help, but there is no excuse for not following crew instruction.
