I stayed at the New York Marriott Eastside 6 weeks ago. I would recommend this hotel for the following reasons:

1. Very good location - walkable to almost everything. Not as good as Marquis or Rhiga - but not far behind on the location scale.

2. My room was very nice and the bed had been upgraded.

3. The bar was small but the "double" scotch was more like a triple - and a half...

4. The concierge remembered everyone by name - even after only 1 night.

5. The concierge lounge per se wasn't my favourite - or even close- but the food offerings were excellent.
