I wrote email to Hilton Tokyo ask about benefit of gold member. The point is to confirm that I get breakfast for 2 person as booking for 1 person or not.
The staff from Hilton Tokyo replied me that they accept 2nd guest stay for free but there is additional charge about 4,000 yen for breakfast of 2nd guest.
Should I check this again at front desk when check-in? Is it common that Hilton should give breakfast for 2 person even booking is for 1 person?

Btw, thank you to those upthread mentioning the Japanese breakfast. Did it this morning and enjoyed it very much.
Might as well throw some other unrelated observations in here rather than tacking on another post:
- gym has been updated to Technogym, replacing the Precor equipment. The main gym area is now solely cardio equipment with weight machines in the upper gym along with bikes. Unfortunately there are no longer any ellipticals up there with the only decent view in the fitness center. I'm going to miss watching the street scene.
- seems like a bit more TV channels, but maybe that's just my memory.
- breakfast buffet in the lobby seems about the same variety although my favorite, potato salad, was missing. A couple more Chinese dishes with the Hilton Huanying signage next to them.
-WiFi struggles at times, like tonight.
Overall still a nice hotel with easy access to wherever we wanted to go. Not quite ready to jump ship to another Tokyo area.
