Currently have the Platinum card for myself and my wife on same account. Looking at the Reserve card but the 2nd card is 175 additional fee and really it is to get SkyClub access. My wife would use it 1-2 times a year. Maybe. Usually when we do travel together there are PP lounges and have free access with a guest.

So my question is my spend would quality for the MQM and RDM boost for both tiers with my work travel/expenses/etc. What do I get with a Reserve card for me and my wife Platinum? Does it combine the spend and put the spend tiers at the Reserve level? Platinum level? Have two different spend setups? I don't really want to spend 175 for essentially nothing but I guess if it means all the MQMs/RDMs that would be better?
