on BA, there are never availabilities when you arrive and even pre-booking when flying F usually doesn't work, but to have a part of the lounge closed once a week in a major hub airport really takes the cake!
i tried calling to see if I can change the date since i really didn't expect this but they wouldn't budge in terms of the change fee, with the agent sassily telling me I am even lucky to have a flight in J in the middle of summer...
as a FTer with slightly OCD tendencies for booking the 'perfect' award, I feel so stupid for this 'mistake' (it's my first AF award, so go easy on me) but I also feel this spa treatment is definitely not worth the €45 fee...
