I have been looking at flights but they seam to be cheap on the outbound and rake me through the coals to fly home. I am hoping to do it as cheap as possible and fly on the same day.

I didn't look into any partner (AA) options, but found two one-day itineraries on AS ... imo $600-650 is a bit steep, but at this point in the year there really aren't many other choices
