ANA does not fly HKG-PVG on its own metal, so that must be another carrier operating the flight. In fact no star alliance member flies HKG-PVG (with the exception of Junyao which is a star connecting partner).
If your routing is entirely on ANA (via Japan each time) then your itinerary will not be compliant.
In any event, departing HKG, CX is well aware of TWOV and could always provide assistance to the operating carrier if you really got stuck.
