Hi,

Providing your IAH-LGW flight arrives reasonably on time then there should not be a problem ( minimum connecting time LGW-LHR is 3hours).
The bus takes around 1 hour to 1 hour 15 mins.

BA used to give free tickets( now i think it is £17 for the fare) to connecting pax in the past ( ended soon aafter September 2001 together with baggage transfer between the airports)
