Current Status of Buffets

I know there's a separate thread for buffets, but there's been kind of a quantum change and I think it's worth noting.

I used to mostly go to the buffets at Planet Hollywood, Paris, and Rio. I'd frequently purchase the "Buffet of Buffets" pass, which basically gives you two dinners and a breakfast.

However the price of the buffet pass crept up, and now is down to $49.99, where it was about 3-4 years ago. But they've markedly decreased the quality of the buffets.

For me, the main attraction of the buffets was prime rib, but Rio and PH didn't have it, and I assume Paris doesn't either. Bellagio still does.

So my basic question is...

1) Which buffets still have prime rib, or to put it another way, which are comparable in quality to what PH/Rio/Paris used to be? MGM? Mandalay Bay? Mirage? TI? I'm not a penny-pincher when I go to Vegas, although I'm not sure I want to pay $60 for Caesars.
2) What are the best buffets downtown? I'm spending more time there lately, and as Uber has gotten cheaper, rental cars more expensive, and parking on the strip more expensive, I'm tending to stay downtown more.
