The rail system in the UK must be quite bad if PKP is an upgrade. I've only used the trains in the UK a handful of times. I remember one train (can't remember the company) ride last decade where the doors opened outwards directly at the seats (like in a car). That was odd. However, I'm used to riding on Deutsche Bahn, so PKP has a ways to go IMO. On the other hand, you cannot beat their ticket prices. Especially versus DB ticket prices.
