With Parker Palm Springs leaving the SPG programme on 04Jan, I'd begun looking around for our "new home" there, and came across this property.

Avalon Hotel | Boutique Hotel in Palm Springs

Appears to be quaint, quirky, boutique... much like PPS was.
Apparently a rework/redesign of the Viceroy (for which I canna find ft thread on either)
Debating staying there for 1 night in Dec17 to check it out.

Has anyone else been there? Anything to report good or bad?
