QRCargo is the best place to check which aircraft is operating the route, and indeed specific flight. While the QR website may show a flight being operated by a 777, QRCargo will indicate precisely which 777 variation is flying - so it will show those with QSuites, 772s, 773s, 77Ws, etc.

It's a great site, and not too well known about, so huge praise to the OP for finding it (or for reading about it on here, and then linking back)
