Car Hire Excess companies that DO cover HK residents
Reviving this thread because I finally found a couple of car hire excess insurance companies that will cover Hong Kong residents:

RentalCover.com
Worldwideinsure.com

I haven't used either yet (although probably will very soon), but I see there are positive comments about RentalCover.com on various Flyertalk threads as well as the Autoslash Website.
