Thanks all for the replies, I sent an email to the gm as suggested, will see where that leads to.
The problems I have been told seems to be either :
- the 1st night (no availability on the flights but i can still book departing flights on that day from the website)
- or the last 2 nights sold out apparently but still selling villas on the website....

They have a little leeway they are getting in Manila on February 15th in the evening 7;30pm and departing Manila on March 1st 6:30pm in the evening. They would like to spend as little time as possible in Manila, except to do a full day tour either before or after. so their stay would be either from the 16th until the 27th or from the 17th until the 1st (preferred option).

They've came back to us with a stay from the 17th until the 27th. Not the worst case scenario, but still it'll be my parents 50th anniversary year and would like it to be perfect or as close to if possible. Really don't understand why the resort would be telling us its sold out when they're still showing it on their website....
