Hi,

My parents will be travelling to SEA in a couple months, and i am trying to find them an alternative to AmanPulo, since it appears to be fully booked for 2 of the 12 nights they would go ....
was bummed today when travel agent sent me this message. what's strange though is that i can still buy the room on the website for their trip.

Looking in priority:

- for a nice Beach, with the possibility of swimming ie not have to walk for 150 m before getting water up to your ankles,
- seclusion would be a nice plus out of the mass tourism way (no phuket, bali, etc),
- no 6S resorts either or 'eco friendly' they have bad memories of 6S Yao Noi,
- finally, they've had a great time in MRU 2 months ago really enjoyed the Prince Maurice & Oberoi, with a preference for the Constance to the exception that it was a bit too snobby for them (the other guests not the staff), The spa treatments of the Oberoi was incredible apparently.
- up to 3000 USD/ night, but less than 2000 USD would be ideal.
- Bad or No internet access would be a plus! (would take my dad away from his work and mom would be happy )

My mom favorite hotel and she reminds me every time, even though not a beach resort,

prior to going there they will be taking a 3 nights road trip from bangkok to pakse plus 2 nights cruise to the 4000 islands in Laos.

open to suggestion, scratching my head on this one! Amanpulo seemed so perfect!
