The company has asked us, for a long time, to pour rather than hand out cans. It is perfectly fine to ask for a can and we will honor those requests barring some odd unforeseen circumstances. The company has not asked that we change this practice either. Nor have they announced any change to the Horizon free beer/wine policy. It doesn't mean that someone, somewhere isn't considering this but no announcements regarding this have been made or incinuated. Horizon is famous for their free microbrews and locally made wines, I can't imagine they would stop this. In fact at one time, Alaska was trying to emulate this, but was unsuccesful in doing so.

There have been alot of catering changes in recent months and will continue to be some. Some of the upcoming changes.... no more lemons or limes in coach for drinks. No more milk in coach. No more Kahlua, Canadian Club, Wild Turkey or Amaretto in coach or first. Special meals will ONLY be available on transcon flights. With new changes there may be some "growing pains" that will, unfortunately, have to be worked out by trial and error. Some of the other changes being made should be fairly transparent to the customer. Hopefully, these changes are almost over. Things are pretty bare bones at this point so I don't see where else they can cut. You never know though, just when you think you can't cut anything else the bean counters find something else that can go.
