On the SJC curfew, this past Wednesday I was coming in from DC, connecting through Chicago. All flights out of Chicago that night were at least 3 hours lare due to weather, and our 8:15pm departure turned into 11:30pm. I thought there would be no way they would let us touch down in SJC, but they called ahead and got permission, and we landed about 1:45am.
I beat even that.
JFK-SJC about 4 years ago, we sat on the tarmac for 6 (!) hours waiting to be re-routed around some storms. After finally returning to the gate to refuel, we got a routing, took off, and landed in San Jose ~3AM. Then add a 45 minute wait to get a taxi!
