It clearly says in the SOP that FSD's cannot implement their own policies. So if they are straying from the SOP, they are wrong.

My airport (CVG) was ranked #1 in security and #2 in Customer service by USA Today, and we still don't have everybody on the same page. It doesn't mean that things aren't safe, it just means that things will be a little more frustrating for the passenger.


Have no fear though, training teams and alot of much needed remedial training are on the way.
I have not received any shoe harassment at CVG, so no complaints on that front. However, a few months ago, gate harassment was still being done at the Comair C concourse.

FSDs cannot change policy. However, they may interpret policy to the extent that they can exceed minimum SOP guidelines. The punk FSD at DEN clearly does so.
