Does anyone know what they mean? Does that provide a visual clue that a "ground stop" is in effect?
P.S. If anyone else is here at the Admirals Club and wants to hit the bar (after all, it's past 10:00 a.m. ORD time, and certainly the drinking hour in HKG), stop by the end cubicle in the work section of the club, and look for a black roll aboard with an Aeroflot sticker, DL, US, and AA premium tier tags, and red Jet Airways carryon tags attached and I'll buy you a drink!
I think it means Lightening within 5 miles so Ramp services are suspended with all metal items.
