I have no delusions of grandeur here - the point is that 'helping the TSA be more efficient' results in a net gain of 0 over the long run. The underlying premise that not stacking bins negatively impacts other pax is false (at least in the long run). The TSA staffs and screens based on a line metric. The more 'efficient' we make the TSA, they will make up with more screening inefficiency.
