History==> I am gold for life on United, which means i am gold for life in Star Alliance. I attempted to go for the gold on Eva, because the higher your status, the better your seat. I didnt realize that once you reach a level, they reset the next target. I thought that i could make silver, which i did, then make gold two and a half trips later.

Along the way, i accrued EVA miles,and i am trying to figure out how to use up them up, or transfer them to either a credit card, or another program. I am in the same situation for Hainan Airlines, but their program is even more complex than EVA.
