This cannot be right - are you sure you weren't looking at the total price, for two people?
An "anytime" single ticket from Newcastle Airport to London Kings Cross (which, as its name suggests, is the most flexible and most expensive ticket and can be used at any time) is £151. An off-peak flexible ticket is £134. Once you add on two tickets from Kings Cross to Heathrow then the total cost for
two people would be in the region of £275 - £310.
