I've had an e-miles account for several years which allows me ONLY UA miles & offers miles for charity contributions. This spring I created a new account which allows me miles of all airlines & points of all hotels, but never offers earnings for charity. Even though I think I used my same birth date--unless I used my buddy's birthdate so as not to be detected as a duplicate account .
