I've stayed at the Hyatt Place a week ago on a one night stopover (damn Qatar Airways for their schedule changes) and liked it.
Upon arrival staff recognized me as they were working at the Grand Hyatt before (where I usually stay). As a Globalist I got drink voucher for the evening which I traded for two cans of Coke Zero from their pantry kitchen. The WiFi was very fast.

I received a large upgraded room (next to the elevator but I could hardly hear it) and also noticed the weird position of the door/bed.
My gf likes the Grand Hyatt location more but for a short stop the Hyatt Place is a good option.
