No worries. If you had Amex SPG points, that would be a different story.
Another option would be Korean (Chase UR partner) which typically offers good availability from the US to Asia in First Class for only 80,000 miles each way.
Although booking with KE's SkyPass can be a challenge until you understand the system. PM me if you'd like some help.
