New hear so apologies if this is repetitive or easily answered.

My fiance and I are going on our honeymoon next year and will be traveling through Hong Kong from NYC. I have 140,000 Amex points and 325,000 Ultimate Rewards Points.

We would like to fly business on Cathay and I believe it is 70,000 AA miles each way per person and 105,000 Avois each way per person. Is there any reason I can't book a one way ticket using AA miles (transferred from Amex) and then a separate one way return flight using Avios (transferred from UR points)?
