Update: After further investigation, Hilton reopened my account after I provided my side of the story. My suggestion is to not do any point pooling if possible. If you absolutely need to do it, then do as MaldivesFreak suggested by calling Hilton Honors ahead of time to flag the account for everyone involve in the pool.
