What benefits do you think you’ll value most out of PM over GM?

You’ll get complimentary C+ at booking which over the course of the year could be worth quite a bit - if you value sitting in C+ at all. If your attitude towards C+ is “great if I get it but I don’t care if I don’t” then there’s less value here.

The RUCs would be nice, but sadly I’m personally finding them more difficult to use in advance and really have just been finding them to be “move further up the upgrade list at the gate” certificates, though you’re mileage will vary there. I’m sure plenty of FTers have their own experiences (good and bad) with respect to RUCs now.

Are you planning to redeem any miles this coming year for award tickets? One of the best PM perks is the mileage redeposit waiver. You can easily book and cancel award tickets and I’ve taken advantage of this on several occasions, booking one option and then switching to a better option without penalty when something else opened up.
