Unfortunately no redemption options open for Hyatt. Cash for the PH not in the cards for this trip.
Interesting that the Prince (or at least one of them) is now a Marriott. I've stayed at two of the four Princes in the past. Don't remember if one of them was the Sakura Towers. I like that complex a lot actually. It felt peaceful and unique, even if the hotels and rooms themselves weren't super nice (they weren't when I've stayed at least).
Ah so you've been to that Takanawa Prince garden complex. I love it there, esp in the evening during summer. If you felt the room was mediocre, I guarantee you didn't stay at Sakura Tower. That's really one of my favorite hotels in Tokyo. Rooms at the other two hotels there (Takanawa Grand and New Grand) are certainly mediocre, although Shinagawa Prince is even worse.
