Recently flew AC routing on two separate tickets: SEA-YVR in Y, then YVR-LHR in J class. I checked in online. Arriving at SEA the agent checked the bags through to LHR. No problem or issues encountered even though two separate tickets, two different classes. Agent said because I was flying J to LHR there was no charge for the economy segment bag (normally $25 for the first bag).
